Share A Good Motivation

I know I have repeatedly say here that I am getting very lazy lately; however, I am sure my laziness at these times are far more incomparative. It has been more than a week since I touched my blogs. I feel tired just even thinking about sitting in front of my laptop; I feel lazy thinking I need to deal again with so much stuff in the internet. Right now, everything turns the other way because it is my husband who spent a lot of times in his blog writing sponsored and interim posts and at the same time taking some time to visit fellow bloggers. Now, he is the one who is round the clock in his blog. hehehe. Well, I am not sure when my 100% passion in blogging be back but I hope it will not be too late; I hope it will be too soon. I am working on it right now so I hope it will be back sooner than I expected.

Want To Have A Share?

Yesterday we finally hit more than 100F in North Texas. It was freaking hot that is why I hate to go out when I am not going swimming because I will assure you that you will really be sweating from head-to-toe. No exaggeration here. My husband keeps on teasing me that I am one of the few individual who grew up in a tropical country who find our temperature here way extreme. He likes teasing me about it because he knows that I easily get annoyed. Darn! I don't care what he is going to say. All I know is it is damn so hotta, hotta, hotta in here these days and I am certain it would be worst in the coming days.

Random Thoughts

Lately, I noticed that there are only few fishes available at the triple P. It makes everyone's fishing difficult. If there are available, they easily get gray in a split of a second. I guess there are more and more people who ventured with blogging. Well, this is really a very easy sideline and full-time job especially for some country where dollar has a big value.

I remember when I just started blogging less than a year ago, the triple P has always a lot of opportunities. When I had a PR3 and PR4, I don't even have to worry when to sit down in front of the computer to catch big fishes. But right now everything has changed. Even if you have a PR, it isn't an assurance already to wrap up the day with a big take home. You know what I mean.

Here's my other observation. Triple P has slow down in pouring out big and fat fishes. I feel pitty for those who are full-time bloggers; who quits with their job to do full-time blogging and for those who are full-time Moms who basically rely on their blogging income to help the families and their husbands in meeting the needs.

As for me, I wish that triple P will soon be releasing more fishes so that I can add more to our savings, to our emergency fund which will serve as a back-up when we will buy our dream house already.

700th Post

Last night, I was so determined to write my 700th post for this blog before I will head to bed. I was actually a little sleepy at that time but I did try my best to make my silly goal last night come true. Well, if you do want to make it happened for sure you can always find a way like I did. Guess what? The post before this marks the 700th post of my blog. Wow! I can't even imagine I already write that much. Anyhow, I am sure that are a lot out there who write even more than I do but being a busy woman I was amazed to realize that I managed to write this much in justone blog. hehehe.

Now It Is Over

Non-stop phone calls, left and right request for the shuttle, several check-outs and very demanding guests are what greeted me with my first day at work after my two-day off. I didn't exaggerate it but today is the craziest and the busiest day ever since I started working here. What makes it more difficult for the Frontdesk and shuttle driver is the fact that everyone calls one-by-one and asked to be either picked up or drop to a certain convention center approximately 2 miles away from the hotel. When hubby called me today before noon, I told him I can't talk to him because it is really very busy hat I can't stay long in one phone calls because another one or two or more are waiting to be answered. Anyway, the good thing is, the busy atmosphere makes time ticks so fast. The next time I looked at the clock, it was already 2:00PM, time for me to start counting my money and prepare everything to close my shift. When it was few minutes before my shift ends, I want to drag the minute-hand of the clock so it will even move fast. I just wish I can do that...

Hubby Is Now Officially In at PPP

I am so happy for my hubby-dovey. He didn't win the lotto, okay? I am happy because finally he got his email approval from the triple P's. His In Demand Opinions blog is now finally active in PPP's marketplace. It only means that he has already more opportunities to make profit of his hardships and some complains of bloghopping. hehehe... He is complaining sometimes when he is bloghopping because according to him it is tired and it makes him sit in front of the computer for hours. I just hope he will get encourage now, now that he is already earning real money from his blog. I hope he will have good career in blogging (LOL). I hope he will have more opportunities at PPP.

Life's View

I am free! Free to do whatever I want without worrying the calls, the complains, the long standing, giving road directions and so on. However, this isn't forever so there is no much reason to "merry-go-around". LOL. This is only for two days while I am away from my desk. Yet, this is still awesome. At least I got the chance to unwind myself before facing my work.

This isn't new after all as I live this life since I graduated college. I once thought that everything will be easier and more fun after going school; however, my innocent mind at that time didn't realize that real life drama in this world begins when you are supposed to stand on your own two feet.

Oh well, what is important is we live our life to the best we can everyday. We live not just to work and work and work but we should live a life that is balanced. I remember the famous saying, "All works and no play makes John a dull man".

Afternoon Delight

Done with today's work that is why I am here in my blogs. I am off tomorrow and Thursday that is when I can completely breath-in and out right now. LOL... Why? Well, for 2 days I will not be waking up very early in the morning.

Right now, I am docking here in my blog while waiting for hubby to pick me up. Thanks to my lappy at least I have a company while killing the boredom of waiting. It is my fault though because I was the one who suggested to hubby not just pick me up on his way from work so that he need not go out during his break to get me.

I guess it is a pretty smart decision so we can save money for gas. Gas is getting expensive so we might as well try this to lessen the gas budget. If only there is a public transportation, I would prefer to take one. However, hubby said he will never use public transportation as he is used to being FREE driving his own car anywhere he goes. Anyway, he isn't alone as his friends share the same idea also. I just said, "Whatever"! LOL

My Salutation

What a beautiful day we have here in Texas! The sun is brightly shining up in the clear, blue sky. The branches and twigs of the trees are softly swinging as if dancing with the beautiful song of nature that only them can hear. Water is so inviting as well; hence, hubby and I decided to go soak ourselves in the bit cold water in the pool. A lot of people are in the pool right now. Kids are shouting and chasing each other and some are playing games in the water. Parents are on the pool side watching them and some are in the water. It is Sunday, yes, a family day. That is why everyone has flocked in the pool. Oh, what a beautiful day indeed! I miss the Philippines when the weather is like this; very similar to the weather that warmed and cool me down for 23 years.

Day Break

Good afternoon everyone! How's everyone been doing here? I hope y'all doing great. Yours truly is okay just trying to beat the stuff that I need to do in my blogs and household chores. Well, it is expected already for like me who is a married woman. Hey, wait... I never say I have complaint about being married; it's the household chores that I hate to do sometimes. Hubby knows that and most of the times he is there to rescue me. He does the laundry, cooking, washing the dishes and vacuuming. For us, if the other can't do his/her taslk there is no reason that the other won't help; that is wife and husband is for; one is there to help the other if he/she can't do it already. Yes, I know that it is supposed to be the wifey's role but for couple who are both working, I guess helping each other is a MUST. Most of the times I am already worn out; tired from my full-time job and my online work, blogging. Life...

A New Laptop On the Way

When hubby decided to blog, we then knew that we need another computer. So, I told him that I am going to buy a laptop. He was at first apprehended because he isn't sure yet if it is worth it. I explained to him that I can't risk the ranks of my blog if I can't do my task because he is using the computer often than he used to do. Before he is blogging, he only uses the computer in the house to check emails and do some research or check eBay and other stores online. He does his work in his computer in the office.

Before he left to Chicago last week, he didn't give me an answer yet as to we will buy the laptop as soon as possible or not. One day, while he was still in Chicago, I talked to sis Gladys and asked her opinion about the brand of the laptop that is good. She, as usual, never holdback and told me everything that I need to know. After several exchange of words during our chat, she told me that Dell has an ongoing sale for Mother's Day. That laptop is supposed to be around $1,200 - 1,300 including shipment, tax and other accessories but we were able to get it for around $800. It was indeed a big savings. Since there is a Dell store in North Park Mall near downtown Dallas so we decided to go there so we can bring the laptop home. Unfortunately, they don't hold enough stocks there so we still end up shipping it.

Anyway, as of now, we are only waiting for our new laptop to be delivered. Hopefully, I can have it this week if not by next week because we do need it so bad at this time.
Hubby told me that my new laptop is my anniversary (one year in the US already) gift. We bought it on the day that marked of my arrival here in the US (in San Francisco Airport to be exact). He said, this would probably be an early 1-year wedding anniversary gift. hehehehe... or a blogging gift.. Whatever...

Hubby Takes Home FREE Vacation Package for Two

When winter is about to end, hubby and I already start looking for a place where we can have a short spring or summer vacation. We have been working so hard so we definitely need a break; we need to unwind ourselves. We have a lot of options such as Florida, Las Vegas, California (at least we can visit Dad) and even looking for a trip to Mexico.

Now, we don't have to worry anymore with the budget with our soon-to-be vacation because hubby's company give him FREE roundtrip airfare for 2 within the US mainland, 3 nights stay in whatever hotel (we are free to choose) and a $500 cash allowance. Isn't it great? Oh, it is fabulous! Actually, it was hubby, together with another two managers from DFW team, was awarded with this grand vacation package for being the Best Management Team of the entire company. I am so proud of him and of his colleagues! Of course I am very happy and excited because we can now go on our planned vacation for FREE!

Now, there is no need for hubby to use his hotel points to get a free nights stay or no need for me to ask for a travel passport from my company so that I can get a $39.00 per night rate in all Hilton Family hotels. Instead we planned to use some of hubby hotel points to get a FREE car from a car rental so that we can freely roam around in the place where we will go. Hubby is already asking me where I would like to go but as of now I haven't come up yet with a decision. But right now, I am longing to go to the beach so we have a big possibility to head down to Florida. Well, let us see what mine and hubby's decision will be.

Wonderful Meeting

I was off yesterday. I was supposed to stay here with my blogs but in the last minute I got an invitation from my dear friend Jo to come over to her house because her new friend, Madel<>

Anyway, since our new friend is living 5 minutes away from the airport where hubby works, she told me to just let my husband drop me off there and I will just have a ride with them going to Jo's house. Hubby was a little hesitant at first because I haven't met them yet. So instead of just dropping me off at the Krogers and he could just go directly to work, he decided to stay with me and wait until they arrive.

They were such a beautiful and young couple. Hubby feels comfortable and at ease wit them on that first, quick meeting. Madel's husband is the one driving us to Jo's house; leave us there and he also went to work. He then picked us there at around 6:00PM and I had a ride with them and they drop me off at the nearest Wendy's in there place where hubby waited for me.

It was a very beautiful day and we are all so happy to meet each other. We blend right away so we are expected for more days of bonding and get together.

Need Reinforcement

At last, I finally got time to sit in front of the computer. I was cooking dinner when we got home from work. I know dinner is a little late because we got home already around 7:00PM because we drop by at Circuit City and Office Depot to check their laptops. We need another one as there are already two of us who are blogging at this time. I don't want to waste my time when I get home and earning nothing when hubby is using the computer. LOL

So, our decision is to buy another one, a laptop so I can bring it anywhere I go. I can bring it at work and do some stuff in my blog while waiting for my husband to pick me up after work. We have wireless internet access in the hotel so there is no problem. Moreover, we just realize that I just could "hitch" with the shuttle bus when there are pick-ups in the airport since the time that I get off from work are the times that most guests arrrived in the airport and request for pick-up. So we are thinking that it would be easy for both of us if I will go there and wait for hubby until he gets off from work at 5:00PM. He will just pick me up in whatever terminal the shuttle will drop me and will escort me inside the airport to go to his office or anywhere close to his office. Since I am with him, I can get inside beyond security and we can use the Skylink (airport train) so there is no waste of gas. I can also work while waiting for him since there is also wireless internet connection there. So we are saving expenses for gas and at the same time keeping my hubby from getting off from work for an hour just to pick me up at my work and bring me to the house.

Anyway, we are looking on getting HP notebook or the Gateway Notebook; Dell is also one of our options.

Time Ticking Fast

The post prior to this marked my 200th post at PPP. Yes, I already have 200 posts at PPP. I know, I still can't believe how many opps I have submitted to them as of now. It was like few days ago since I wrote my first post titled "I Sign-up with PPP".
Time really flies so fast. Personally, I feel like time flies so fast lately. I know this is weird but this is what I feel with how fast things are going on around me. I guess it has to do with the busy life here in the US, time ticks so fast as well... Well, it seems like I just arrived here and next month will mark my first year here in the US.hehehe

For the Second Time; I Decided to Stay

Supposed to be, April 30 would be my last day in my present work. I was hired as a return specialist in one of the companies in Irving, Texas and was scheduled to start on May 1. The new job was very inviting having good pay (bigger than my present pay) and great benefits. I know you might say that I wasted the opportunity when I called my new job last Friday and declined the offer. Actually, everything was set already. All I have to do is to go there on May 1 and start with my training.

There are a lot of reasons why I didn't pursue with the new job. One of them has to do with the possibility of growing in the company. After having a serious talk with one of my managers, I realize that I have more room for growth in my present company. We will soon be managed and owned by a new company which offers more salary and good benefits to the employees. To date, I am with them for 5 months now and have been learning a lot of things in the hotel industry and more are waiting for me to learn and discover.

My present company promise nothing to me as of now but the door is always open for improvement depending on how determine I am to reach it. I guess you know what I mean... Well, maybe right now, the new work would mean more money but in the long run my present work would even mean more... Hubby agrees to my decision. I will give my present work another try; thinking of spending a year there and let see what entails me in the future. At least they know, I am yearning for growth in the company and I observed that a help from them is there so that's what is important.

It is really funny. This is my second attempt to resign but I always end up staying. So let see what's ahead. Maybe there is a purpose of having me stay with them. Hopefully, it is for good...hehehe

Out for Two Days

Been absent here for two days. I was on intentional hibernation. Seriously just a bit busy with our schedule yesterday that's why I didn't have time to peek in my blogs. The whole day isn't enough to cover everything we planned to do.
I was off yesterday. We went to Fort Worth Arts Festival at noon. It was fun. Lot of foods, bands, different art display and of course bunch of people. In the evening, hubby and I went to a birthday party in Arlington and we had a blast. It was a birthday party of one of my friend's friend. She is a Filipina and everyone coming there are Pinay with hubby-dubbys....
Miss my babies (my blogs) and now am back taking care of them...

Wanna Be Home on Weekends

If you are working in a hospitality industry, you are very lucky to get both Saturday and Sunday off. When I started working here, within my first 2 months, I never had a weekend off. It was hard for me because my husband is always off during weekends. However, when I hit my 3rd month, I was so happy because I was already given 1 day weekend off and 1 weekday off. It was an awesome feeling to be home and be with my hubby again on weekends.

Last week, it was so great because I was off on weekend. I can’t complain. I really do like it. This week, I didn’t have my luck to be off yesterday because it was very busy. But I was on Saturday and we had a blast in the zoo. Yes, hubby, my 5-year-old “cutie kulet” stepson and I went to Fort Worth Zoo. I am going to share our pics later.

Anyway, I started to get used to my work schedule but I am searching a job right now that will have a regular schedule. I thought I found one but when hubby and I went there yesterday, the place was a bit far from us and very traffic in the morning since we will pass by the airport. We decided though not to proceed with the interview. I was sad but it was ok, maybe it wasn’t really for me…
