Been Here In the US for A Year

Yesterday was just an ordinary day for me. I went to work early morning and get off from work at 3PM. Hubby drove me to and fro work. Before I get off from work, I called hubby to bring some clothes for me because I want us to drop by somewhere. Since, we both don't have lunch yet we decided to eat in the restaurant. We went to Chili's and order our favorite food there.

While eating, my husband and I were talking about anything under the sun. I also asked him how his trip to Chicago was. Then, out of the blue, he told me HAPPY ANNIVERSARY baby. My eyes became big. I tried to recall as quick as I can as to what is significant on that day. The first thing I tried to recall is if yesterday was our wedding anniversary; fortunately, it wasn't. Before I was able to make up my thought, he reminds me that yesterday was marked my first year here in the US.

Oh, yeah, way back, it was around 5:00PM, May 10, 2007 (US time) when I arrived in San Francisco international airport. All I did was laugh! Honestly, I was really no clue that I am already here for a year although when the date was approaching my friend, who arrived in the US 2 days after I did, and I talked about us being here for a year already.
