New or Used Auto?

Hubby and I agreed that having me drive as soon as possible could be advantageous to both my work and for us. We are turn between getting a slight used or a brand new car for me. He insisted of getting a brand new car for me but I told him that a used car is okay as long as it is not that old and well-maintained. I am not picky plus for a starter like I would prefer not to have a brand new car because it will be useless if I will totaled or hit it somewhere. God forbid. I guess you know what I mean. *wink* Will we are planning to go to a dealership or hit the internet to look for their used autos. Moreover, for me, getting a used car like 2004-2007 models is logically good, money wise. It means having a good car at a reasonable price especially if you are paying it in cash.
