I still remember, it was on the Friday, 25 of September, when I sent the pictures and house layout/plan to my parents in the Philippines. A month has passed and they still didn't receive it so we thought it was already lost. We even joked that perhaps the office was flooded and my letter was one of the unfortunate stuff that was not able to survive from typhoon Ondoy.
I was hopeless so as my parents that they will still receive the mail. So, I decided to scan and email them the house plan/layout in fear that if I am going to send it again through the post office it won't reach them again. I was thinking of using private courier but they charge so much to send pictures and document.
Today, I opened my Chikka account and I saw that Mama sent me a text on the 20th telling me that they finally received the mail. OMG! Yes, it took 2 months for them to receive it. The post office said that if it is a registered mail, it usually takes longer but I never thought it would take 60 days to reach them.
Well, I guess, the good thing is they finally receive it and my parents are happy to see the pictures!!!!
