When you least expect it, it happens.

I still remember, it was on the Friday, 25 of September, when I sent the pictures and house layout/plan to my parents in the Philippines. A month has passed and they still didn't receive it so we thought it was already lost. We even joked that perhaps the office was flooded and my letter was one of the unfortunate stuff that was not able to survive from typhoon Ondoy.

I was hopeless so as my parents that they will still receive the mail. It's Venezuela Once Again!

Venezuela reigns again in the 2009 Ms. Universe held in Nassau, Bahamas, August 23, 2009. Dayana Mendoza crowned her successor fellow Venezuelan, 18 year-old, Stefania Fernandez. Venezuela surely made a history in the Miss Universe pageant after winning the Miss Universe title in 2 consecutive years.

For me, I believe that Ms. Dominican Republic and Ms. Venezuela are one of the strongest contenders in the pageant and very much deserving to win. On the other hand, it is sad to note that Philippines bet Bianca Manalo didn't make it this year. Oh well, there is always another year and who knows next time Philippines will take home the crown...

Our Little Man Turned 7

Our little man just turned 7 on Thursday. To celebrate this important day, we went out and eat in a family-owned Chinese restaurant which he and his sister love so much. We had lomein, fried rice, shrimp and their special prok BBQ.

On Friday, hubby and I decided to host a small party for family and close friends to celebrate our little man's 7th birthday. There were a lot of kids who came and it makes our little man's night. He had so much fun and of course we had so much noise in the house which we didn't mind at all.

When Friday night ends, we are all very tired already and we ended up waking very late on Saturday morning. It was a very tiring week for me and hubby but seeing the happiness in our little man's face is so rewarding and fulfilling.
