Settled Down At Last!

We finally find our "dream" house so to speak. We closed on the 30th of June and we are officially moving in this Saturday. As you see, we aren't much in a hurry to move since we have paid our current place till the end of this month.

Coming up with a decision on which house to buy isn't easy; we have devoted a lot of long nights and days to go over each pros and cons. Since this is our (hubby and I) first house together; I have nothing to compare with. On the other hand, hubby seems to know pretty much on what features he wants for our house. He knows pretty much about house features, the location and the like so I have to read more and do more research so that I will also be knowledgeable on this matter also.

We had a realtor but we don't actually rely more on him. We choose the specific neighborhood where we want to see houses for sale. Before the start of our house hunting, we have been checking neighborhoods and search the internet on houses for sale in the DFW airport proximity. Our realtor is basically there to show us the houses and to negotiate something with the seller or the seller's agent.

Anyway, as with other people has experience, buying a house isn't easy but after the long stressful days and nights, it is very rewarding and fulfilling when you finally have the house keys.

Have Fun Under the Sun

It is Spring one more time. Aside from summer, this is the best time of the year to do outdoor activities. Some families go camping, engage in barbeque afternoons, go hiking, nature trailing, jogging, walking and biking. What's New With Me?

Wow, it's been 3 months now since I write something here. Three months without writing a line here is a pretty long time considering that before I never fail to write something in a day. Anyway, I am back now but I can't promise to be seen here everyday; perhaps, a couple of times in a week. I know people who are working full-time like me will understand.

Anyway, a lot of changes happened to me and my family in the last 3 months. I am now officially starting a new career. I mean, I finally got a job which schedule is very convenient for me and my family. I am no more in the hospitality industry. Hubby and I just realized that my work schedule there isn't healthy for me and my family. Thus, we are so happy when I finally got this job. Now, I am only working on the weekdays and most especially I am home at night. So, I have more time to spend with my hubby and family.

Now, I am praying that I will last long in this work. I truly love it and the people in our office are wonderful. We are like a family; we always help each other and everyone blends well even though we are a mixture of different cultures.

What I Have Been To?

I know I have never been in my blogs lately so I am thinking of giving you an update on what is going on with my life.

*I just turned 25! Yeah, you heard it right. I just celebrated my 25th birthday and I got some pics here to document that very special event in my life. We (hubby and I) with our friends (Madel and Kevin) went bowling that night. We had fun. It was a very wonderful night.

* I am now an official DL holder. Yes, I am now driving for more than a month. So far, I am very much enjoying the comfort of getting to the place I want to go including work anytime I want to. The little disadvantage I guess is I am missing the times when hubby drops me off and pick me up at work. I miss seeing him and having a short ride with him to and from work.

* I am now officially looking for a daytime, no weekends job. I finally give up to my beloved husband's request. Yes, my work right now is very promising but there are just some stuff that you have to take care of and in my case my family; my dear husband. We already miss a lot of times; we already didn't do the things that we always do before like having movie marathon every now and then, road trips and many more. Oh well, we will be back to doing those things again soon. Hopefully, I can find another work faster (am crossing my fingers here).

I guess I should stop here for now since its weekend and I am off so hubby and I decided to have a movie marathon. He just said we should start the movie now. So guys, it is nice to be back and hope to be here more often.
